Why the semi-obscure Prince lyric and pretty, blue movie poster up above?

Well, the big news done broke:

Our Adam has been added to the cast of curvaceous pop superstar Mariah Carey‘s latest cinematic offering, Tennessee.

The producer of this road movie is young firebrand Lee Daniels, the force behind the critically acclaimed indy films Monster’s Ball and The Woodsman. Sounds to us like a strong bet to be more gold than glitter.

Oh, it’s on y’all; it is most definitely on.

Tennessee

Two brothers. Three paths. One destination.

Carter (Adam Rothenberg) and his younger brother Ellis (Ethan Peck) embark on a journey from New Mexico to Tennessee to find their estranged father — a trip which might hold Ellis’s life in the balance. Along the way they meet Krystal (Mariah Carey), an aspiring singer who flees her controlling husband (Lance Reddick) to join them on their journey.

    Oh hey… I met Adam in acting school, back in New York a few years back. I gotta tell ya, it was obvious to me (and I’m thinking the whole class) this was one talented thespian… really stood out from the rest of us, definitely had the ‘it’ factor. And clearly my and the class’s premonitions were correct. Awesome, dude… I send you good soy karma and best wishes for your Film (TENNESSEE).

    Saw Adam in a lot of his earlier stuff, probably the last thing was DANNY AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA, where he and his talented costar projected raw honesty, truth and gritty radiance . Great production.

    Spent many a night drinking too many beers and straight-up margaritas (dude, what were we thinking?) and talking about life, acting, girls, acting, girls, oh and acting. Ha! Wonder if that lower east side bar is still there?

    He’s a great guy… deserves a big pay-off for all his hard work and talent. Hey, Adam… look me up next time you’re in LA. Miss ya man!… My contact info on IMDB.
