A Star Is Borne

Star Magazine

By which I mean, the latest copy of Star magazine was borne from a neighborhood bodega to my apartment this past week.

Why would I buy such a magazine, you might ask? Well, there just so happened to be an adorable little photo in the lower left hand corner. What choice did I have?

Yes, “Katie’s co-star,” or as we here at the Apple like to call him, our Adam.

Wow.

And there was more inside…

An operatic two page spread! And another picture of Adam! Okay… it’s the same picture, but the one inside is definitely bigger!

Apparently, Tom Cruise shouldn’t “worry about Rothenberg, who only has one major-film role under his belt (the upcoming Tennessee, alongside Mariah Carey)…”

Yet, somehow they believe he is worried.

One supposed cause for concern is a nude shower scene in the Mad Money script between Katie Holmes and “her hot young co-star Adam Rothenberg.”

The photo insert gives another reason for suspicion…

Hot AND sexy. I won’t comment on their misuse of the expression “theater buff.” But I love their theory that Adam’s stage credits represent “exactly the kind of acting cred Katie wants!”

Eat that, Tinseltown!

    Haven’t been able to find any bio info on Adam. Do you happen to know any of his stats? Weight, height, favorite foods, girlfriend, anything?

    Hi there

    I went to college with Adam– even back then the women swooned over him! I have never forgotten him and I have lots of great stories to share if you are interested. I am so happy he has done so well in the ‘biz’ and even though we havent seen each other in years I am sure fame has not changed him a bit!
    So thanks for the website- it helps me keep up on his career.
