Wow, that’s a different poster! Kinda blurry though, but I hope to see it in HQ, so I can read what it said after the “Tennessee” title, lol. Thanks for the news. Great find! Unfortunately, I haven’t heard any other news yet, but hopefully, with the new Spring release date, that can only mean we’ll finally get closer for an official release date. Let’s hope so. Keeping fingers cross here, of course.

Hi, Amy! Good news about Tennessee! Just wanted to let you know that Mariah Carey was on MTV’s TRL yesterday (Wednesday) to premiere her new song/video “Touch My Body” and she announced (or rather confirmed what the DJ said) herself that Tennessee will premiere at Tribeca Film Festival. So, yeah, we’ll hear more about this movie during this festival, which will be on April 23rd – May 4th, 2008.

We were posting on it as you were, but thanks, as always, for the tip.

Just heard from Tennessee director, Aaron Woodley. Just after Mariah Carey made a statement about Tennessee’s premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Here’s what he said:
“I can confirm what Mariah stated, that the film will make its premiere at the Tribeca Film festival in April/May. And more will be coming out about the film in the
weeks to come.”
Also, speaking of Tennessee…at Heroes of Mariah site, there’s a link to read the synopsis of Tennessee (basically, the full story). I must warn you though, before reading it that it’s very spoilerish and you don’t wanna ruin the surprises and ending of the movie. I’ve read the whole thing as I don’t mind being spoiled, lol. It doesn’t take me away from watching the movie, but I know what to look forward to. All, I’m going to say though without spoiling everyone here is that from what I’ve read, it’s a very good story and Adam’s character is the main lead character. We might just see him on-screen from beginning to end and that would be awesome for all Adam Rothenberg fans. Now, I can’t wait to see the movie!
