As we move into the dog days of summer, the networks are starting to rev up their promotional machines for the new fall season. The official website for Adam’s new vehicle, The Ex List is starting to fill out bios and such and has posted a new “Behind the Scenes” clip about the show that features our Adam. The early buzz seems to be largely favorable following the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour, which wrapped up last week. The best rundown of The Ex List session we’ve found is from a posting by Will Harris over at Bullz-Eye.com.
Excerpt from the TCA recap after the jump.

As we mentioned way back when, Adam was recently cast in yet another female-oriented project, the CBS drama pilot The Mythological X, which has turned into an official CBS drama series, The Ex List, controversially set to debut in Moonlight’s old spot this fall. An import based on the series Mythological X, it’s the first Israeli series to be adapted for American network television.
A little clip from the series (with no Adam, sadly) can be found at the CBS site and cautiously optimistic reviews (also with no Adam) can be found at the New Jersey Star-Ledger and Buzz Sugar. It looks as though the original series was a one-year one-off, but showrunner Diane Ruggiero claims to have plans for the second and third seasons, should the show survive.
THE EX LIST (formerly Mythological X) is a comedic drama about Bella Bloom (Elizabeth Reaser, “Grey’s Anatomy”) – a single, 30-something, successful business owner who is surprised to learn from a psychic that she’s already dated her future husband AND there’s a catch: if she doesn’t find him in the next year, she’ll remain alone forever. During a bachelorette party for her sister, Daphne (Rachel Boston, “American Dreams”), Bella learns from the psychic she must revisit her past relationships and sort through the mistakes to find her soul mate. Skeptical, Bella begins to analyze every past liaison and failed romance with her close circle of friends, Augie (Adam Rothenberg, “Mad Money”), an endearing guy who has listened to Bella’s love woes since college, Vivian (Alex Breckenridge, “Dirt”), Augie’s long-term girlfriend, and Cyrus (Amir Talai, “Campus Ladies”), who’s chronically unemployed and full of wry observations. Once Bella witnesses proof of the psychic’s other predictions, her cynicism disappears and she begins her search. Along her trip down break-up lane, Bella is determined to remain optimistic and receptive, believing that when destiny reopens doors to the past, every relationship can matter in the future. Diane Ruggiero (”Veronica Mars”) and Jonathan Levin (”Charmed”) are executive producers for Twentieth Century Fox Television.

More Sunday Slices after the jump and birthday wishes can still be left at the post below.
Adam’s been cast in the CBS drama pilot, Mythological Ex, an Israeli translation about “a woman who, after learning from a psychic that she already has dated the man she’s supposed to marry, revisits all her past relationships.” News at 11.
As noted in the post update below, our readers have been hard at work sending Tennessee news our way, so people looking for the newest news on that project may want to take a look at the comments section.

Tennessee’s page is up and running over at the Tribeca Film Festival, complete with showtimes, which have been added to Upcoming Events in the sidebar.
While we’re at it, “Submission,” Adam’s Law & Order episode, is available for download at Amazon Unbox.
Thanks to Apple regular Jeane for the photo and the heads up on the Tribeca listing.
Update (March 31, 2008):
The April 26th showtime has been changed, from 6 PM to 4 PM.
Update (April 3, 2008):
The April 26th showtime has been changed, again, from 4 PM to 6 PM. Sigh.
Update (April 7, 2008):
Just a quick note to our readers that there are some nice tips in the comments section with regard to buzz that’s starting around the film and some behind-the-scenes footage that’s leaked out. Due to time constraints on our end, we may not be able to post on everything (we can’t compete with Mariah’s legion of fans), but we do appreciate our readers passing on whatever choice tidbits they can find. Thanks to Jeane and Jay for their fine sleuthing.
Just a quick programming note to remind everyone that Adam is expected to debut on Lipstick Jungle tomorrow night, Thursday the 20th, at 10 PM ET on NBC (click on the above to watch the Adam-free preview). According to The Futon Critic, his Law & Order episode, “Submission,” is currently scheduled to re-air on Saturday, April 12th, at 10 PM ET on NBC.
Update (March 20, 2008):
I may have missed Adam due to some technical difficulties, but it looks like Adam did get cut out of the episode. Rats. Looked to me as if the show was looking to wrap things up in case LJ doesn’t get renewed and decided not to introduce any new characters. If I missed it, let me hear all about it in the comments.
Update (March 22, 2008):
NBC pulled the preview video so we have.
With advance apologies for the poor editing, we’ve thrown together a few minutes’ worth of Adam’s appearance on Law & Order tonight. Click on the above to view.
Update:
For anyone who missed the show, Television Without Pity’s recap is up and running.
Update (March 19, 2008):
NBC’s 2-Minute Replay is also up and running.
Just a quick programming note to remind everyone that Adam’s Law & Order episode will be airing tomorrow night, Wednesday the 12th, at 10 PM ET on NBC (click on the above image featuring someone who might be Adam to watch the preview).
Adam’s Lipstick Jungle debut as “a kindergarten teacher with an empathetic smile and gorgeous eyes” now has an airdate and a synopsis. “Carpe Threesome,” Chapter Seven of the series, is set to air on Thursday, March 20th, at 10 PM ET on NBC, a week and a day after his scheduled Law & Order appearance. He’s not mentioned in the synopsis that we pulled from TV Central’s Lipstick Jungle forum, but the other new characters mentioned can be found in the same casting notice as Adam’s, so it’s probably the right episode.
20 Mar 07 Chapter Seven: Carpe Threesome
Wendy (Brooke Shields) is dealing with a very difficult scriptwriter, Lorraine Lippman (Marsha Mason), who cannot seem to put an ending to her movie. Wendy makes a bold move and tells production to move forward, leaving it up to her to get the final script from Lorraine in time. Nico (Kim Raver), still very caught up in her dual life with Kirby, faces a harsh reality when she receives news that Charles (Chris Cousins) has had a heart attack. The scare makes her realize how much she misses her marriage and brings her life back into perspective. What will this mean for Kirby? Elsewhere, Victory (Lindsay Price) is getting used to the idea of Joe Bennett (Andrew McCarthy) as her boss instead of her boyfriend. Hockey superstar, Chris “Parks” Parker (Bobby Cannavale) and his wife grow very fond of Victory. The relationship heats up, which puts Victory in a very compromising position.
For the Tennessee completist, we’ll just pass on the tip that Mariah’s been chatting a bit about her recent film projects during the promotional swing for the musical part of her career, as in this Access Hollywood clip in which she discusses how her previous cinematic missteps have informed her current choices.
According to Mariah Carey’s fansite, the delovely diva paid a visit to TRL yesterday to announce the big, big news that Tennessee will be appearing at the Tribeca Film Festival this spring. Oh, and to launch her new video, “Touch My Body”. Show Adam’s co-star some love and vote for it. And it’s got Jack McBrayer! The Apple staff sure loves them some Jack McBrayer. The Mariah Daily Journal has a downloadable video of the announcement, posted at midnight today.
We were getting a little impatient there, but this is pretty cool. No schedule or official roster of films has been announced as of yet, but the website does currently offer a mailing list and, for American Express cardholders, various ticket packages composed of presently unannounced films. This year, the festival will run from April 23rd to May 4th and tickets for individual shows will go on sale April 12th for AmEx cardholders, the 18th for downtown residents and the 19th for everybody else. As always, updates to follow.
Update:
If past years are any guide, we can expect the official lineup to be released around the middle of March.
Just a quick update on one of Adam’s other projects, Lipstick Jungle received an order from the network for another six scripts. Still no word on whether additional episodes will be filmed (or the status of Adam’s character), but it is doing reasonably well with its target demographic of women 18-34 and women 18-49, so we’re cautiously optimistic that our man Adam may be on our TV screens on a regular basis in the very near future.
